About The Hereford Charity Pool League The
league evolved in the Winter of 1999 following the imminent demise of the existing Hereford League. From the outset
the league set itself a simple criteria, to raise monies for local and national charities. The League set out with a clear objective, putting the fun back into the game, making a Thursday night out playing pool around Hereford an enjoyable one. Not withstanding that, should a team win their respective league they would have the opportunity to donate at least £200 to the charity of their choice. The Hereford Charity Pool League is now the largest league in the area by far and has been able to donate over £30,000 to local and national charities! Those of us who endeavour to run the league do so for pleasure & not personal gain, we don't always get everything right and will no doubt continue to make a few errors along the way. However, when all is said & done, we listen to our fellow competitors and hope (and believe) that they know we do try to take on board their thoughts and use all criticism constructively. Pool
is a game and should enjoyed by one and all, we go one step
further and try to help those who are out there working to help the
less fortunate in our community. Enjoy Your Pool John
